Share your perspective and values with your children. While it doesn't seem like they are listening in the moment, they will follow your lead eventually.
great job, "Dad!" ( and a nod to your wife as well!) What a wonderful young woman Chloe is - you both must be so proud and I hope she is also proud of herself.
I am so grateful to have fallen into Chloe’s orbit within my first week at Emory. Such a pleasure to read her perspective after experiencing the past 3 years by her side - no doubt I have grown as a person because of her!!
Feeling grateful to have benefited from Chloe’s wisdom and friendship, and in turn, the life lessons and values of the whole Glazer fam. While I would argue freshman year Chloe was also pretty great, this reflection is such a marker of all to come.
What a wonderful tribute from daughter to father. It clearly shows the love and commitment you have in your family and the impact it makes on growing kids!
I’m almost in tears thinking that my daughter will soon be in the same moment. A great lesson, and congratulations for your daughter. Voy a escribir en español para dejar mi sentimiento: me refuerzas lo importante que es transmitir a nuestros hijos en lo que creemos. Puede que parezca que no nos prestan atención, pero definitivamente si lo hacen.
This is really incredible perspective. Brought me back to lessons I learned in college and am still learning today. Thank you for the guest author and good luck at graduation Chloe.
I've been reading Friday Forward for several years and I have to say this is one of the most impactful ones to date. Thank you to Bob for being an example of a great father, and cheers to Chloe for recognizing the woman she's grown to be and the gift of sharing that with her parents. Sometimes we need a good kick in the pants to see something that has been in front of our faces the whole time. Thank you Glazer family!
Best one yet!

Your kindness is exhibited in this moment you shared with us.
And I love the quote at the end!

Good job Glazer parents! This is one special young lady - smart and grateful! A rare combination indeed!
Congratulations to Chloe!
Very well written piece by Chloe. As a fellow father of children going through similar transitions/graduation I know how proud you are.
Grab a tissue—cue the tears. Proof that even when it doesn’t feel like they’re listening, the lessons still get through. Thank you for sharing this!
Well done, Chloe. And well done MOM and DAD!
Lovely text! Good job to you and Dad !.

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree! I am sure she makes you and your wife proud.
Love this!
