Timely, as ever, Bob. Really well done. Thanks for the encouragement and reminders to keep the wheels steady, focus on the horizon, and (when needed) put your own oxygen mask on first.
Very timely and on-point, thank you! The haze of uncertainty can cloud your vision of what's truly important and within your control. Times like this call for a slowdown and reassessment of what's valuable to you and those that matter to you. It takes a level of presence and hefty amount of reflection. It's certainly worth it, when the results rely on making difficult decisions that steer your ship through dangerous waters. Slow and steady feels like the order of the day.
Highly agreed. Not many people are able to stick to one thing. Many of us can't wait for delayed gratification and instead prefer instant satisfaction. It's always important to learn your craft and stick to it.
Really important points we should all be considering given our present environment and the accompanying challenges it presents to all businesses! Taking care of oneself should be on everyone’s daily schedule but is often not given the same attention and time slot as other business events! What we put on our calendars tells a great deal about what we consider important!! Burnout is usually the result!!
It seem nowadays that it's a luxury to be able to truly disconnect from society and focus on yourself. Keeping things simple and maintaning your perspective seems so hard when you start thinking about it... and that's just it, people should stop thinking so much and just do it. Feel less, do more. That's what's keeping me very much alive and happy, the peace I found by living day after day. One day at a time.
